Apparel production assistant,

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Assistant to join our dynamic Production department based out of our Corporate office in NYC . The Production Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garments and has extensive understanding in working with overseas factories.

This position will report to the Production Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire production process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality in Mens Womens and Kids ready-to-wear garments.

Collaborate closely with design, product development, and technical design teams to plan and execute production schedules according to business objectives and customer demands.

Follow up with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components while maintaining quality standards.

Monitor and optimize production workflows, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks at various stages of production to maintain exceptional quality standards and minimize defects.

Be on top of production for timely deliveries and Oversea Quality of product.

Vendor Set ups with new customers

Key Requirements:

5 years in the garment industry

Bachelor's degree in Production Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Proven experience as a Production / Manufacturing Manager within the fashion industry, preferably in high-end or contemporary womenswear ready-to-wear.

Strong knowledge of garment production processes, techniques, and materials, with a focus on quality control.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in using production management software and tools to track progress, manage inventory, and analyze production data.

Effective leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Proactive and detail-oriented mindset, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all production-related activities.
