Healthcare organization located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking to hire a Part-Time Temporary Data Entry Administrative Assistant to support the Membership team for a 1 - 3 month assignment. This role will require 3 days on site - flexible on which days. Hours are 9am-5pm with 1 hour of unpaid lunch (21 hours).Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to programs and department as directed.Screen and handle telephone calls in a proficient and professional manner; take clear and concise messages. Group voicemail oversight and receptionist coverage.Protest of Assignment work to include tracking and mailing supplies, tracking , entry and maintenance in databases, distribution of reports to staff members.Maintain approved filing system, including archiving and retrieval for Protest of Assignments that have been filed. Perform file research for field representatives.Perform mailings: bulk mailings, contract mailings, newsletters, meeting notices, flyers, and other correspondence as directed. Process incoming mail.Accurately type letters, minutes, agendas, confirmation memos, reports, and other documents as directed.Copy, fax and scan requested materials by deadline as directed.Prepare meeting materials as directed. Prepare for elections, rallies, pickets, etc.Create, edit and maintain spreadsheets for routine and special projects.Perform other department or agency-related duties or special projects as directedQualifications:Degree required3+ years prior administrative experience preferably out of educationMust have excellent verbal and written communications skillsKnowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) requiredAttention to detail and outstanding organization skillsStrong interpersonal skillsCustomer service mentalityVersatility to handle varied workload and competing demandsCompensation:Hourly up to $25/hrBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
