This is a short-term project. If this project is satisfactorily completed the applicant will be eligible for a full-time position as Personal Assistant if so desired.

Looking for:

Professional, able to multi-task, is a self-starter, does not need to be micro-managed, and can easily switch from one task to another.

An experienced person to handle administrative duties in a home office.

Someone who can dedicate 18 hours per week, 11:00am to 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday - and one other day.

Job Description:

Catalogue a small number of antiques, books, and other miscellaneous valuables and sell entire inventory.

Sell a large amount of audio/visual equipment mostly high-end audio

Have serious experience with online and other sales

Online Sales (eBay, Facebook Messenger, and similar platforms).

Open and sort mail, lite organization and filing

Run simple errands

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Work in conjunction with the owner to establish the value of each item to ensure optimum pricing for sales.

Clean, photograph, and prepare all items for listing and sale.(A/V material already done)

List inventories for sale on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and similar platforms for liquidation. Look for bulk purchasers for all like/same inventory items

Monitor online sales listings and communications.

Respond to all sales inquiries, meet with prospective buyers (if local), and conduct the sale of all items.

Pack, ship and track any items not sold locally.

Maintain Excel spreadsheet of all inventory sales and monies.

Maintain a clean and professional work space.

Skills/Abilities/Requirements:

Must Be Able to Pass a Background Check and must provide resume and verifiable references.

Be proactive in your approach to your work; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work on your own with minimal direction.

Attention to accuracy when working with numbers.

Strong ability to gather and analyze information (Internet research).

Good communication skills - verbal and written.

Proficient computer skills: MS Office (Excel/Word/etc.).

Office equipment skills: PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.

The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all things.

Compensation / Hours:

Salary TBD

The position is for 18 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and a third day 11:00am to 5:00pm.
