Social Media Manager and Content Creator needed for a new shopping app

Superkind, Inc. is looking for a Social Media Manager & Content Creator in NYC to join our lifestyle tech startup! At Superkind, you’ll work with our Marketing team to create compelling content (social posts, videos, TikToks, Reels, and Instagram Stories) and lead programs to build, grow and engage with our community.

This is a part-time (20-25 hours/week) role for 3+ months.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with our Marketing team to grow and manage our company’s social media accounts

- Create engaging, short-form TikToks, Reels, and Instagram Stories (mostly from home, but occasionally we'll ask you to create content with our team on the streets of NY!)

- Stay on top of industry trends in the lifestyle space (fashion & home) by monitoring social posts across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram

- Monitor and analyze social analytics to determine new strategic content ideas

- Brainstorm concepts and ideas to grow our social presence

- Engage with followers through our brand’s unique voice

Skills and Experience:

- 2+ years of experience creating content for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Comfortable taking initiative, both working independently and within a group

- A deep understanding of what engaging and viral content looks like across different social platforms (ideally in the lifestyle and shopping/fashion space)

- Experience using graphic design and video editing tools to create content
