Experienced Barista

Busy bagel store with full cafe menu in Brooklyn Heights/ Cobble Hill looking for an EXPERIENCED barista for coffee preparation and cash register. Must have strong skills in making espresso beverages, keeping drip coffee urns and iced coffee made, and slicing/packaging cakes and pastries.

Excellent customer service, communication, time-management, and team-minded attitude required. Ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning new skills and helping our store and our team improve every day. Most of our staff has been here for many years and we hope you will want to stay for long time too. This is a pleasant workplace with many regular customers and excellent quality food. We are making improvements to the decor this year and look forward to many years of success with a long-term team who can grow with the company.

Preference for availability any days of the week as we set up your regular schedule (we are open 6am to 6pm, 7 days a week, with two shifts.) Must have permission to work in the US. Starting pay is $17/hr, plus tips to start; every team member will have an annual pay review with possibility of raise based on performance.
