We’re looking for an exceptional Bar & Service Manager to join our team and lead operations at our bustling surfer-inspired beach bar.

About the Role

This position is the perfect fit for an ambitious leader who thrives in managing bar operations while maintaining a strong presence on the restaurant floor. As the Bar & Service Manager, you’ll oversee front-of-house (FOH) operations, championing exceptional guest experiences while ensuring seamless service flow. Your primary focus will be on the bar program, but you'll also manage service teams, optimize labor costs, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

What You’ll Do:

Bar Management Excellence:

-Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory, ordering, and maintaining beverage quality standards.

-Lead and mentor bartenders to deliver outstanding cocktails and service.

-Ensure compliance with alcohol safety regulations and best practices.

Service Leadership:

-Actively manage FOH operations during shifts, resolving guest concerns, supporting staff, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

-Collaborate with the GM to implement training programs for service staff and bartenders.

-Coordinate daily pre-shift meetings to align teams on service standards and goals.

Team Development & HR Support:

-Recruit, onboard, and coach FOH staff, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.

-Assist with scheduling, retention efforts, and performance management.

Operational Efficiency:

-Analyze and manage labor costs to align with business needs.

-Maintain a clean, safe environment that meets health department guidelines.

-Support marketing and sales strategies to achieve financial targets.

What We’re Looking For:

-Proven experience in bar and restaurant management, ideally in fast-paced, high-volume settings.

-Strong leadership and communication skills with a guest-first mindset.

-Expertise in bar operations, including mixology, inventory management, and bar team leadership.

-A collaborative attitude, passion for hospitality, and a desire to grow in the industry.
