Ensenada is a seafood concept in Williamsburg with an agave based cocktail program and we are seeking to add two new members to our staff! . Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

- Anticipates and accommodates needs of the guest.

- Maintains the general cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area.

- Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.

- Actively takes and processes reservations for guests.

- Assists with incoming calls and answering questions from guests.

- Assists with setting up front desk area, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.

- Ensures that all appropriate menus are printed and ready for service.

- Collects menus throughout venue during shift.

- Performs opening side-work as prescribed.

- Performs closing side-work as prescribed.

- Learn by listening, observing other team members and sharing knowledge while leading by example.

- Portrays a positive and professional attitude.

- Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.

- All candidates must have availability to work nights, weekends and holidays if needed.

SUPPORT (Barback / Busser / Runner):

Tequila/Mezcal and natural wine knowledge is preferred but not mandatory if you are willing to learn.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and MUST HAVE experience in elevated dining.

Please have the following:

- More than 2 years of experience with high-end and high volume service

- A proficient knowledge of steps of service for hospitality

-Preference given to those with a NY Health Department Food Protection Certificate.

SUPPORT:

- Supporting servers on the floor

- Setting up and stocking the bar before service

- Prepping bar fruit, juices, etc

- Assist kitchen in closing every night

-Running food between from the kitchen to the bar and floor

-Running drinks from the bar to tables

- Keeping the restrooms stocked and cleaned

- Incidental cleaning duties as needs arise

- Bussing tables and supporting wait staff as needed

- Keeping the bar clean and maintained (trash removal, running supplies to the bar, etc)

- Ice wells, back-stock booze

- Maintain DOH standards
