Line Cook Needed / Mexican Restaurant

We are looking for a full time line cook at Oso Mexican Restaurant.



Oso is located at 1618 Amsterdam Ave, on 140th street across from City Collage.

Oso is open 7 days a week from 2 - 11 pm


This position is full time or part time with competitive pay based on experience.

Must be willing to work weekends.

Must be available in the evenings.

Must be legal to work in the US.

Additional expectations:

2+ years of experience working on the line of a high-volume restaurant.

Understanding of setup and breakdown of stations

Appealing plate presentation

Correct labeling and dating procedures

High level execution during service

Ability to follow a recipe if needed

Workable knife skills

Able to follow and uphold cleanliness of the kitchen, in line with NYC DOH standards

Maintenance of an organized, clean work area.

Food handlers preferred.
