Branded Saloon of Brooklyn is seeking passionate and dedicated line cook.Branded Saloon'ssmall & professional team creates some of Brooklyn's favorite house made Americana Cuisine, in a fun & busy environment! We are looking for a professional and energetic Line Cook capable of working all stations (fry, grill, and sautee).Must be avalable Friday 7pm - 12am, Saturday 2pm - 1am & Sunday 2pm - 12am. Additional shifts are also available! Activities & Responsibilities: Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Requirements and skills: Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry’s best practices Equal Employer Opportunity Statement We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, religion,gender, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
