Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry. The role is based in New York, New York, United States. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations of our team, particularly in managing accounting functions and interacting with vendors. Responsibilities: Leveraging your knowledge and skills in Accounting Software Systems and Sage Timberline Software Managing and processing checks to support the financial operations of the company Handling Accounts Payable (AP) duties to ensure smooth financial transactions Utilizing Construction Accounting techniques to support the financial needs of the construction projects Recording and maintaining accurate journal entries Engaging with vendors for various business operations Upholding accurate customer credit records for reference and future transactions Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar position. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is essential. Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Familiarity with Construction Accounting is a plus. Proficiency in Sage Timberline Software is highly desirable. Experience in Sage Timberline is beneficial. Proficiency in Check Processing is required.
