Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in New York. The role primarily revolves around maintaining and processing accounts payable transactions in an organized and efficient manner. Responsibilities Ensure full cycle AP Processing is carried out accurately and in a timely manner. Manage and maintain vendor files and handle multiple vendors. Undertake daily reconciliation tasks to maintain the accuracy of accounts. Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for accounts payable tasks, expense reporting and invoice processing. Resolve discrepancies in AP invoices and ensure all financial data is accurate. Maintain open and effective communication channels to handle any AP related inquiries. Conduct AP Reconciliation meticulously to ensure all accounts are balanced. Provide training and support to other team members as necessary. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable (AP) role Proficient in using NetSuite accounting software Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel Expertise in invoice processing and expense reporting Experience in daily reconciliation tasks and maintaining vendor files Ability to handle multiple vendors simultaneously Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving discrepancies in accounting records Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
