Corporate Vice President, Business Solutions Strategy
New York, New york city 00000 New york city USALocation Designation: [[custrolelocationdesignation]]Role Overview:The Strategy Corporate Vice President will oversee strategy development, execution, and planning for New York Life’s Business Solutions product line. Business Solutions serves the needs of business owners and their employees through workplace-purchased solutions such as Employee’s Whole Life and group employee benefits. The role works closely with the Business Solutions Senior Leadership Team as well as other key stakeholders to help define and articulate business strategy, with a focus on executing key strategic initiatives. The role is also responsible for monitoring and assessing the impact of inflight strategic initiatives.What You'll Do:Strategy Development
Support the ongoing refinement of the business’ short- and long-term strategy
Assess areas of opportunity, in line with overall vision and strategy of the business as well as external and internal factors
Strategy Execution
Identify and lead strategic initiatives/special projects to drive key business OKRs and metrics. Examples of these initiatives include, but are not limited to:
Identify and execute strategies and tactics to drive key strategic outcomes such as cross-sell, client acquisition, and producer adoption of Business Solutions products
Develop and implement Business Owner product strategy in partnership with enterprise stakeholders to articulate, position, and promote the value proposition of New York Life’s products to business owners
Partner with enterprise stakeholders on positioning/promoting cross-product workplace-solutions
Conduct strategic analyses to identify opportunities for better achieving business and enterprise OKRs
Strategic Planning
Lead business’ annual strategic planning process to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives to ensure successful execution of business and broader enterprise strategy
Monitor, assess, and report progress on strategic initiatives to a variety of key audiences, recommending adjustments to strategies and tactics as appropriate
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience in management consulting and/or business strategy
Experience in insurance, employee benefits, and/or financial services a plus
Outstanding critical thinking and analytical abilities
Execution-focused with a keen sense of accountability and ability to deliver results
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in developing executive level presentations
Ability to build relationships and work across the organization to influence outside direct line of reporting
Project and process management skills, including proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
