We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Supervisor.
The mission of the mental health service at Department of Youth and Family Justice (DYFJ) detention facilities is to effectively identify juvenile justice youth in need of mental health services (JJMHS) during their incarceration, provide quality individual and group interventions through an adolescent mental health treatment model, and ensure the continuation of mental health services upon release to the community through effective discharge planning. The Program Supervisor shall be under the administrative supervision of the Executive Director with on-site supervision by the Medical Director. Program Supervisor will be responsible for design, implementation, and management of all administrative components of the Juvenile Justice Mental Health Services. They will have administrative supervision of the Program Coordinators.
21. Perform other duties assigned by the Executive Director or Medical Director
To qualify you must have a Masters or Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related administrative experience in Mental Health Services. A passion for children and families with mental health or juvenile justice issues. Experience in quality improvement/assurance, scheduling, data management, regulatory compliance. Excellent organizational skills combined with a flexible and professional demeanor and the ability to independently prioritize multiple responsibilities are essential. A high level of competence with both Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
