Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (10+Yrs. Exp.)

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the entire product design lifecycle, from concept to production.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless mechanical and electrical components integration.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform design decisions.

Generate detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications using CAD/REVIT/ProjectWise software.

Perform structural and thermal analyses to validate design concepts.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience (10+ years) in mechanical design and engineering, focusing on mechanical.

Proficiency in CAD software (ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, etc.) and other relevant engineering tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Systems and Codes.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
