Live-in Head of Housekeeping

We are a yoga-based community and retreat center offering a full-time live-in staff position for someone detail-oriented. Some duties include cleaning guest rooms and facilities, classrooms, ordering supplies, upkeep of the guest room laundry, and keeping inventory. The Head of Housekeeping is responsible to guide and supervise support staff and volunteers, handle light maintenance and be responsive to guest needs and work closely with Management. This position requires someone with high standards, great energy, and good communication skills who knows how to organize and delegate projects and who enjoys creating a clean and beautiful atmosphere. Housekeeping or managerial experience is highly appreciated.

Room and board included with a modest monthly stipend starting at $400 based on experience. Also, included are the Ashram core program: daily morning and evening meditation with Yoga-Vedanta studies, Hatha Yoga and Sanskrit classes, plus concerts and cultural events.
