Geronimo is one of Santa Fe’s best known restaurants doing consistent business year round.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fine Dining Bartender/Captain to join our team. As a Geronimo Bartender/Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and passion for delivering outstanding customer service will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional service to guests by anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.

2. Greet guests warmly upon arrival, present wine and beverage menus, make recommendations, and answer any questions regarding menu items.

3. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them correctly into the POS system.

4. Coordinate with the support staff, kitchen staff and managers to ensure timely delivery of service.

5. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, promptly addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

6. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring tables are properly set with appropriate utensils, glassware, and linens.

7. Train and mentor junior staff members on proper service techniques, etiquette, and product knowledge.

8. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

9. Complete all assigned side work to help keep the restaurant operating smoothly.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Bartender/Fine Dining Captain within a high-end restaurant setting is essential.

2. Excellent knowledge of fine dining etiquette, wine pairing, and menu items.

3. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests from diverse backgrounds.

4. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

5. Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining professionalism at all times.

6. Flexibility in working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business demands.
