Production Technician

A local established cannabis company is seeking to hire full-time Production Technicians at our grow facility. We are looking for experienced, hard working individuals with a particular set of skills. This position will report to the Production Manager.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for Production Technicians to work collectively and cooperatively as part of a team ensuring production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. The successful candidates will be reliable, punctual, and able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 50 lbs. Ideally, our Production Technicians will have effective communication skills and a positive and flexible attitude.

JOB SUMMARY:

Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy

Ensure that production requirements and quality standards are met consistently

Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality

Flexible and cooperative to meet changing and unexpected deadlines.

Complete repetitive packaging tasks such as product assembly, packing, and labeling

Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all written and verbal instructions

Consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

Maintain confidentiality in accordance with internal standards and requirements

Must be cooperative and flexible to perform different roles as

requested and required.

Identify ways to enhance efficiency without sacrificing quality

Familiar with cannabis software (Dutchie/BioTrack)

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED

Must be 21 years or older

Must be able to pass a state background check.

Must have 1-2 years experience in the cannabis industry

Must be punctual

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Throughout extended periods must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
