Production Operators (Mask and Spray)

Contract-to-Permanent Hire

Job Duties:

Operates blasting equipment to clean and prepare the surface of materials and components. Prepares and masks parts with fixtures, rubber, tape, anti-bond or metal masks prior to coating. Sets up and operates various types of manual and/or robotic spray systems to apply coatings to parts. Specific duties day-to-day include:

Lifting 25-40 pounds

Mixing powder based on engineering or management notes.

Run equipment based on process requirements.

Monitor and operate equipment.

Maintain clean workstations

Maintain general maintenance on equipment

Targets are moved by hand with lifting devices.

Mixing powders are moved by dollies and lifted with scoops and buckets.

Skills and Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in a production environment is required.

Mechanical aptitude

Attention to detail

Proficient with blueprints/drawings -need to read dimensions on a simple CAD drawing

Proficient with calipers

Basic math skills

Proficient with hand and power tools

Safety and efficiency aptitude

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday,8am-5pm

Anticipated Pay: $19 - $20/hr.

Location:Northeast Albuquerque
