New Mexico, Albuquerque, 87101 Albuquerque USAWork in a local commercial Kitchen and Bakery, Monday through Friday from 4am to 12pm, weekends off. For over 30 years, Flying Star still makes bakery desserts the old-fashioned way—by hand. We need an experienced baker for our high-volume production, everything from scratch, quality ingredients, best desserts in town.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED
1-3 years as line cook and/or experience in high volume commercial kitchen.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
High level of organization, attention to detail and follow through, strong time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Prefer Bilingual Spanish/Kitchen Spanish
Food handlers permit required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive standing without breaks
Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, and cold
Reaching heights of approximately 6 ft. and depths of 2 ½ ft. - 3 ft.
High level of mobility/flexibility in space provided for periods of up to 8 hours or longer as needed
Must be able to fit through openings 30” wide
Must be able to work 8 or more hours under stress during busy times; bending, reaching and walking
Carrying trays of food products weighing approximately 20 lbs. for distances of up to 60 ft.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
