Assistant Woodworker/Junior Carpenter

Czar Millwork is seeking an Assistant Woodworker/Junior Carpenter proficient in the use of woodworking tools (power and hand tools). Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, hard-working, ambitious, and have mastered the balance between quality and quantity. Responsibilities

Prep millwork materials for senior cabinet makers

Assist with onsite installations of custom cabinetry and millwork

Load/Unload delivery trucks

Make deliveries of millwork products to local job site

Move material as needed with forklift and pallet jack

Strong team player but also has the ability to work independently

Working knowledge of wood and woodworking tools

Must understand the importance of maintaining a safe work environment by keeping shop clean and organized and disposing of old materials

Learn to operate machinery

Wearing the requisite uniform and taking necessary precautions to remain safe Steel-toed Boot are required

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Strong communication skills

Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds

Must be willing to travel locally for deliveries

Clean and Valid Driver’s License is a plus

English written, reading, spoken preferred
