Under general supervision, incumbents perform duties as described in the series concept. This is the journey level in the series. The Nevada Department of Correctional has a vacancy for a Dental Assistant 2 at Lovelock Correctional Center, in Lovelock, Nevada. This position will be working under the DONS and Dentist supervision. Candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks in the dental office, ranging from patient care to administrative duties to laboratory functions. Candidate must be flexible and will require a diverse set of skills; clerical, clinical, interpersonal and technological. Candidate must be organized, professional, and be able to perform as part of the dental team. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is located at Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada. Incumbents must be willing to work in this rural area, located 90 miles north of Reno, Nevada.
