You provide individualized instruction and support tailored to the diverse learning abilities of your students, ensuring they reach their full potential. You work collaboratively to provide individualized and specialized programming and instruction through the IEP process that impacts student achievement. You understand the importance of compliance and how vital an IEP meeting can be for you, your student, and their family. Position Type: Full-time, Exempt, 10 monthsTentative Start Date: July 21, 2025On a day-to-day basis, you can look forward to the following:Curriculum Development and InstructionPrepares for and facilitates IEP meetingsCompletes individual educational plans (IEP) in compliance with DESE.Maintains complete records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulationAdapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments Use data to inform instructional decisions Provide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needsHelp Build a Positive School and Classroom CultureEmbody and maintain school’s values, policies, and culture Develop positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff Establish and maintain strong communication with all parents and share progress Effectively supervise and manage a classroom of up to 30 students Show up for critical school events, including staff meetings, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and moreDemonstrate a Growth MindsetPursue challenging professional goals each yearGive and receive positive and constructive feedback from your colleaguesParticipate in school-wide and individual professional developmentSchool-Based Staff staff must have the ability toOperate a computer and office equipment on a daily basisProficiency in Google SuiteOccasional moderate lifting, pushing, and pullingMaintain emotional control under stressInterpret policy, procedures, and dataCommunicate effectively (verbal and written)
