SHOP MECHANIC

R & R Leasing, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full time Mechanic

Responsibilities:

- Has a fundamental understanding of semi tractors and end dump trailers, or has a willingness to learn how to repair and rebuild components on said semi tractors and trailers.

- Farm equipment and construction equipment knowledge, or willingness to learn is beneficial.

- Organize parts, oils, tools, and all other miscellaneous items in the shop.

- Perform inspections on vehicles, machinery and equipment to ensure they are maintained properly and reliable for their day to day operations.

- Schedule equipment repairs.

- Perform record keeping and documentation of the work thats been done.

- Maintain a good work ethic and attitude to promote a good working environment.

- Perform other responsibilities if requested.

- Works with various other employees to complete projects, order parts, maintain a clean shop and working environment, and keep proper maintenance records.

- Has proper communication skills with manager and truck drivers to ensure items are getting fixed in a timely manner.

- Perform service calls if necessary.

Qualifications:

- Posses a valid Driver’s License

- CDL would be beneficial but not required

- DOT certification would be beneficial but not required

- Fluent in English

- Able to pass a drug screen

- Be able to problem solve, and come up with solutions
