Minnesota, Minneapolis / st paul, 55401 Minneapolis / st paul USADescription We are in search of a Patent Paralegal to join our team in the legal industry located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be tasked with handling both U.S. and foreign work related to patent prosecution and client communications. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Ensure meticulous attention to detail in managing case files and documents. Utilize case management software effectively for efficient data organization. Engage in regular correspondence with clients to provide updates and gather information. Handle both U.S. and foreign patent prosecution tasks. Maintain open and clear communication channels within the team and with clients. Foster intellectual property - patent understanding and expertise in day-to-day tasks.Requirements Proficient in the use of Case Management Software to efficiently manage and organize case files. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, attorneys, and courts. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Intellectual Property - Patent, to assist in patent case preparations and filings. Bachelor's degree preferred. Proven experience as a Patent Paralegal or similar role in a law firm or corporate legal department. Familiarity with USPTO procedures and rules. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy in work. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent research and report-writing skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
