The Sr Network Engineer is responsible for operating and securing network and firewall infrastructure that supports platforms under the management of the POMA organization. As a member of the Core Infrastructure team, you will need to have an automation first mindset with an extensive background automating the deployment and management of network/firewall infrastructure in both public and private clouds. Duties will include working with other IT staff and internal customers to identify network, security, and monitoring requirements, performing or overseeing the installation of new hardware and software, and using feedback from multiple sources to isolate issues. The Sr Network Engineer will ensure that all standards are adhered to and that process/procedures are followed.What you will do :Patch and upgrade network devicesCreate Diagrams and detailed documentationServiceNow incident management and internal customer communicationMonitoring and reporting on network KPI'sInvestigation and diagnosis complex of problems that may cross boundaries between teamsWrite and review pull requests in Azure DevOpsAuthor and maintain Terraform and Ansible code for deployment and management of devicesCoordinate and/or participate in vendor maintenance eventsParticipate in an on call support rotationEnable the team to operate in a highly automated manner for management and deployment of network devicesParticipate in sprint planning sessionsThis role is fully remoteThis role reports into the Senior Manager, Cloud OperationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experienceLegal authorization to work in the US is required- we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, not now or in the future, for this job openingPreferred Qualifications :Minimum 5 years of experience with networking, routing, and securityExperience creating detailed network and system diagrams in Visio or similar toolsExperience designing highly redundant production network environmentsExperience designing both LAN and WAN networksExperience or strong understanding of VXLANHands on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other automation and configuration management toolsStrong understanding of Cisco Spine-Leaf ArchitectureStrong scripting skills and the ability to work with PowerShell and PythonAgile project management experienceStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workComfortable working in high pressure, SLA bound environmentsWhat We Offer:Health Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision401kPaid Time offParental and Caregiver LeaveFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a w
