Manager for Specialty Food Store

We are looking for an experienced manager for a retail food operation. This is a ground floor opportunity with a food start-up.

If you do not have experience with grocery, inventory management, or anything related to specialty food,

Restaurant experience is not relevant to this position.

You will be responsible for managing a grocery and deli inventory of approx. 1,000 items.

Inventory management skills are required

A working knowledge of wines, meats, cheeses, and other specialty

Past business ownership is a plus.

You will be responsible for sales, marketing, cost management, payroll management, loss prevention, equipment, and overall operation of the store. This is not an office job, you will be responsible for people, product, and property on a daily basis.

You will have the support of a full team for HR, logistics, marketing, pricing, purchasing, etc.
