Position is responsible for the management and scheduling of Globally manufactured Crushing Machine schedule, Global OE and Service machine build schedules which include machines supplied from quote inception through the delivery of the machine to the customer. Global machine schedule support in the India, Canada, South America, China, Australia, and other Asia-Pacific markets.
Maximize effective and efficient utilization of the Crushing manufacturing footprint capacity and make necessary decisions to meet customer delivery requests with existing capacity.
This position is responsible for initial scheduling and capacity management for the manufacturing operations for both OE and Service machine schedule. This position is responsible to manage shop floor capacity and assembly bays to support the OE and Service machine schedule. Create and maintain OE and Service machine schedules for all USA based manufacturing plants.
Responsible to manage and supervise demand and capacity of Crushing OE & service products to maximize efficient utilization of plant capacity and schedule, both within the Crushing network and Komatsu external vendors.
Maintaining a very strategic and thorough relationship with the network to understand and determine necessary changes to the master schedule while accessing the overall impact of machine moves to OTD on a constant basis.
Responsible to engage manufacturing and supply chain to drive for delivery performance of machine orders. Position should engage as one team unit with shop floor manufacturing teams.
Communicate with key business managers within the organization, including but not limited to operations, finance, and sales regarding day-to-day changes to the master schedule for better alignment with the sales schedule and internal network capacity.
Expert systems knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and plant capability is essential to the overall success of this role and integral to the strategic scheduling decisions being made.
Working with Sales/Regional Partners to provide lead times estimates for quoting purposes. Create and maintain Lead Time data base, templates etc.
Key Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and overseeing the demand and capacity for OE and Service assembly to maximize efficient utilization of plant capacity and schedule, provide guidelines for scheduling each location to maximize plant efficiency and throughput and production schedule.
This position requires an extensive knowledge of Komatsu Crushing global locations functions and maintains a close working relationship with the sales and service teams.
Develop and maintain Monthly data analysis for Global Sales and Operations planning meeting. Develop and maintain Monthly data analysis and consolidated reporting of global financial performance to the Budget and Forecast.
Predominant Tasks
Create and maintain all Crushing OE and Service machine schedules for all Crushing manufacturing plants.
Provide guidelines for scheduling each location to maximize plant efficiency and throughput and production schedule.
Develop and maintain Monthly data analysis and consolidated reporting of global financial performance to the Budget and Forecast.
Maintains the “Shipment & Production” schedule based on manufacturing and engineering capabilities along with customer needs.
Monitors the progress of machine orders on a daily and weekly basis and through the contract administration meeting, coordinates the shipment schedule, and to ensure machines and completed to meet scheduled shipment date.
Provide input to SI&OP based on incoming machine orders, customer and/or manufacturing reschedules, which might effect on time delivery
Investigate and resolve issues effecting on time delivery
Provide feedback and support requirement and inquiry of other regions
Communicate scheduling and changes to organization on regular basis
Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Contract Management and the Operations teams to ensure consistency of scheduling.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience is accepted.
Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive manufacturing and or supply chain leadership experience of multiple locations within a successful industrial organization
Deep understanding of scheduling, capacity planning and level loading, planning, manufacturing, supply chain processes along with the proven courage and ability to execute flawlessly to ensure on time delivery. Experience in multiple facets of a product line structure (Sales, engineering, planning, operations, supply chain, etc.).
Has significant experience in sales and operations planning and scheduling
Demonstrated in depth knowledge of SAP in areas of MM, SD, PP, LI, SM, Z transactions and queries
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
A demonstrated ability to achieve results through others without having formal authority.
