CNC Machinist

Produce machined components according to production schedule.Studies specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements. Maintains holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines. Evaluates for anomalies regular machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut and documents and communicates to the supervisorMust be attentive and aware of the machine anomalies as they occur.Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications.Work with designers, production personnel, programmers and others to resolve machining problems.Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities within the area.Provide feedback (CIP) to all related areas Machining, Assembly, Test and/or QMM.Participate to train new employees. / Cross-train on other functions within the team.Maintain a clean and organized work area as per 5S philosophy.Overtime may be required, sometimes with little advance notice.Perform other essential and related duties as may be assigned
