Jr Attorney/Contract Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL Description: This role is hybrid and is 6-12 month contract with potential to convert.

• The project involves taking contracts for Brand related work in global markets, and amending or executing new agreements from the US.
• Suppliers and contracts will be identified, and this resource will be responsible for redlining agreements, communicating with global suppliers and/or contacts in those markets on the changes needed, and then facilitating the approval processes and execution of the amendment/ contract.
• Some project management responsibilities will be included as well - updating spreadsheets with status, reporting, etc.
• Each market may require a slightly different approach to achieve the desired outcome of shifting invoice payments for brand spend to the US. Adaptability to work through nuances for each location is critical

• Negotiate small to medium size contracts for goods and services that reduce cost and risk. Consult with customers and vendors.

• Information technology and telecommunications hardware, software and services knowledge preferred along with procurement and knowledge of supply chain management, contract negotiations, and contract law.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, accounting, finance, marketing and general business knowledge preferred.
• College graduate with a bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2-4 years work-related experience, but preferably 4-6 years experience.
