We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our orthopedic care team. This position starts part-time with potential to transition to full-time based on practice growth and performance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, skilled in orthopedic rehabilitation, and eager to work in a supportive, physician-led environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and evidence-based interventions
Treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and medical staff
Maintain thorough documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Current Hawaii Physical Therapist license (or eligibility)
Doctorate (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy preferred
Knowledge in therapy CPT codes (97161-97164, 97110, 97112, 97116, 97140, 97530, etc.)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with compassionate, patient-focused approach
Ability to work with diverse patient populations
Flexible availability preferred
