The Position

We're looking for a motivatedPhysical Trainer/Athletic Trainerto work with our patients in injury rehabilitation and recovery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible hours while building a meaningful healthcare career right here in Hilo.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate musculoskeletal injuries

Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs

Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises and treatment

Work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries

Educate patients on injury prevention and proper exercise techniques

Collaborate with our orthopedic surgeons and medical staff

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications:

Required: Athletic Trainer certification (ATC) or relevant physical training certification

Education: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related fieldExperience: 1-3 years preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply

Strong knowledge of injury evaluation and rehabilitation

Excellent communication skills in working with patients and familiesTeam player with compassionate, patient-focused approach

Ability to work with diverse patient populationsFlexible availability preferred
