Cocktail Experience Guide & FOH Team Member

Common Ground is a hospitality & lifestyle company for people eager to make a difference. Located on a 62 acre historic former sugar and guava plantation in Kilauea, Common Ground Kauai is home to a growing regenerative farm and hospitality venue.

We are in search of a mixologist to bring to life a guided cocktail experience based upon the unique locally grown spirits of Hawaii. This will be an hour offering pairing seasonal Hawaii grown garnishes to showcase a spirit with a signature cocktail. The Experience will be paired with dinner for an exceptional evening activity for Island visitors and locals. We are a start-up led by a small team, interested candidates must be a self starter and willing to pitch in all aspects of day-to-day operations.

Job starts at 25 hours per week with additional hours added as the programming grows.

Required Skills

Bartending experience, knowledge of local ingredients and cocktails

Strong communication skills - able to engage with customers in person

Availability to work in the evening.

Active Hawaii Blue Card holder or willing to obtain

Able to lift 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of POS and booking systems(Toast, Fareharbor).

We are looking for the right candidate to start immediately, starting pay rate to be $30-$35/hour based on experience, with potential for increased pay and hours with demonstrated commitment and success of the program.
