Heavy Equipment Operator (Plant Bowen)
Georgia, Cartersville, 30120 Cartersville USAFounded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This full-time position is located at the Georgia Power Plant Bowen in Cartersville, Georgia. Pay rate: $21.63 - $31.36 / hour Higher starting pay with relevant experience. Job Summary:
Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, track hoes and bulldozers.
Essential Functions:
Operate heavy equipment to load or place dirt, ash, or other materials.
Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment before operation.
Perform all duties in conformance to safety standards.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Previous construction industry and/or equipment operations experience.
Training Requirements:
Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.
Experience:
Operators with 3+ years of operating experience preferred.
Other Information:
Ability to climb and operate heavy equipment.
Must be able to work in a construction environment.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
