We are searching for talented, passionate individuals who are ready to bring our guests a taste of Louisiana hospitality and flavor. Join us in creating unforgettable dining experiences that celebrate New Orleans' rich culinary tradition.
We’re hiring for the following positions:
1. General Manager:
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring excellence in service, managing the team, and maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily operations, including both front- and back-of-house management.
-Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards in food, service, and cleanliness.
-Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance.
-Control budgets, inventory, and costs to meet financial targets.
-Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Knowledge of Southern or New Orleans cuisine is a plus.
-Proficiency with POS and restaurant management software.
2. Prep Cook:
Our Prep Cook plays a vital role in ensuring our kitchen is ready to deliver exceptional dishes. You will prepare ingredients, maintain cleanliness, and support the culinary team in bringing Crescent City’s flavors to life.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and portioning sauces.
-Follow recipes and prep lists to maintain quality and consistency.
-Ensure kitchen areas are clean, organized, and stocked.
-Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen deliveries.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role preferred.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
-mBasic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Line Cook:
Our Line Cooks are integral to delivering Crescent City’s vibrant, flavorful dishes. You’ll work directly with the culinary team, preparing menu items and ensuring each dish meets our high standards.
Responsibilities:
-Cook and plate dishes according to Crescent City’s recipes and presentation standards.
-Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure quality and timely service.
-Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years of experience as a line cook, preferably with Southern or Cajun cuisine.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
-Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
-Passion for Southern food and New Orleans flavors.
4. Executive Chef:
The Executive Chef at Crescent City is the creative and operational leader of our kitchen. You will drive our culinary vision, oversee menu development, manage the kitchen team, and ensure the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
-Lead kitchen operations, including menu planning, food prep, and plating.
-Develop seasonal and special event menus that celebrate Southern cuisine with a New Orleans twist.
-Train and mentor the culinary team, fostering skill development and collaboration.
-Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and consistency.
-Monitor kitchen costs, inventory, and ensure profitability.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef, with a focus on Southern or Cajun cuisine.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Creative menu development and recipe testing experience.
-Thorough knowledge of kitchen operations, budgeting, and food safety regulations.
5. Host:
As the Host, you are the face of Crescent City, welcoming guests with warm hospitality and managing reservations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities:
-Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner.
-Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize guest flow.
-Answer phones, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the entrance and dining areas.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a customer service or front-of-house role preferred.
-Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor.
-Ability to handle busy periods with grace and efficiency.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Food Runner:
Our Food Runners play an essential role in creating an enjoyable dining experience by ensuring food is delivered quickly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests.
Responsibilities:
-Deliver food to guests promptly and accurately, maintaining excellent presentation and professionalism.
-Assist servers by communicating any guest needs to ensure a seamless dining experience.
-Keep service areas clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
-Provide a friendly, helpful presence and answer guest questions as needed.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to assist wherever needed.
