Hiring a Pool Cleaner in Hillsborough County

Greetings from Christian Brothers Pools!

We’re looking for cleaners to join us in providing the Tampa Bay community with effective and affordable pool maintenance.

The type of person we’re looking for is…

Punctual - always on time and good at communicating when they won’t be.

Friendly - ideally you’ve worked in consumer facing jobs before. Our customers fuel our business, so keeping them happy is a top priority.

Experienced - if you have not been a pool cleaner before, we’re looking for someone who’s worked a variety of jobs, ideally in the home services industry.

Good Communicator - we’ll need to rely on you to to communicate the needs of some customers to us directly, and to be ready to tell us what you need as our working relationship grows.

You must be able to…

Operate a pickup truck to do your cleaning routes.

Be on your feet for most of the day.

Handle hot and humid conditions.

Be willing to learn a new skillset (if you’ve never cleaned pools before).

Able to work a flexible schedule, generally starting in the early morning.

Able to service 15-18 pools/day.

Treat customers with respect - we’re entering their property, so they need to trust us and the work we do!

Duties include…

Perform routine pool cleaning including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and water balancing to maintain crystal-clear water quality

Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators to ensure proper functioning

Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment to resolve mechanical issues efficiently

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service visits for each client’s pool system

Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment
