Radiologist Support Assistant 3rd Shift (4:00PM - 4:00AM PST)
Connecticut, Stamford, 06901 Stamford USARadiology Support Assistant, 3rd Shift ( 4:00PM - 6:00AM PST)In this pivotal role, you will oversee and ensure that the exams coming from Philips’ Direct Radiology (DR) clients will be complete for the radiologist, read in a timely fashion, and that any communication of critical findings will be communicated to the care provider and ensure physician to physician communication as needed. You will liaise between staff radiologists and site personnel to ensure efficient, high quality patient care and safety during 3rd shift between the hours of 4:00pm - 4:00am pacific time.Your role:
As part of our DR team that supports Radiologists, your role is an essential function that operates 24/7 and is a base requirement for supporting the radiologists to process imaging study volume optimizing radiologist efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Monitor and direct Emergent and Non-Emergent workflow platform queues to ensure that cases are getting processed within their designated turn-around times.
Liaise with hospitals/sites covered by Direct Radiology to resolve issues, whether these issues are regarding a specific case or in general as well as communicating any critical findings to the care provider.
Complete support request submitted by radiologists for missing images, reports, exam information, connection to a referring provider, additional history or any request to effectively complete a quality read for a patient/client.
Document any issues that arise throughout the shift in the Shift Change Summary Report and notify the Supervisor, Manager and/or the appropriate department; contact and follow up with IT regarding any IT issues that occur for staff and radiologists and liaise with the radiologists and assist with any questions, queries and/or concerns in the absence of Radiologist Liaisons.

Your skills include adequate knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology as well as strong computer skills and computer program knowledge.
You have experience in a fast-paced medical or customer service environment delivering high quality patient care and/or service.
You can sit at a desk while working shifts that range from 8 hours to 12 hours, with breaks as determined by applicable labor laws and Philips’/Direct Radiology’s break policy and be available to work one to two required stand-by shifts per month.
You have a minimum of a High School diploma/GED (required) and it would be beneficial to have an Associates, Bachelor’s Degree, or work experience in a related field.
As a remote employee you are required to have a dedicated office environment free of all outside distractions and background noises. While on shift, the office needs to remain clear of non-work-related events, people, and activities that may disrupt or interfere with work. You must have direct ethernet connectivity at your workstation, with a speed requirement of 5+Mbps down and 2+Mbps up.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus may be offered.
