Description

In this role, you will need to excel at explaining intricate technical information to the non-technical user. Are you most productive in an active and positive environment? Are you a driven individual? If that's you, Robert Half has a Desktop Support Technician role that may be the position for you. Motivated candidates with effective problem-solving abilities will be preferred for this position. Located in the Denver, Colorado, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature.

Responsibilities

- Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters

- Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions

- Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

- Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures

- hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

Requirements

- Desktop support or related experience

- Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing

- Quality experience with Application Security

- Microsoft Office 365 experience

- Practical knowledge of Hardware Devices

- Foundational knowledge in Basic Network Troubleshooting

- Well-founded grasp of Hardware and Software

- Cisco Networking experience

- Deep understanding of Computer Hardware

- Proven knowledge of Cisco Certified Network

- General familiarity with Hardware Installation

- Command of Desktop Hardware
