Lead Carpenter

Lead Carpenter for residential remodel projects.

Primarily you will be working on projects lasting about 2-10 months in and around San Francisco. Come work for a relaxed but professional remodeling company that values the work / life balance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is hoping to start their own construction / remodeling business in the future. You don't necessarily need to have previous experience as a project lead,but strong carpentry skills would then be needed to compensate.

Requirements (in order of importance):

1. Willing to take responsibility, good attitude and desire to learn and improve.

2. Carpentry skills (1 and 2 are equally important)

3. Conversational English.

4. Ability to work with or manage people - fellow employees, trade partners and clients if needed.

5. Willing and able to follow a process.

6. Tools

Not Required but Important.

1. Basic Computers skills

2. Transport - Preferably a truck.

3. Presentable.

Responsibilities

You would be responsible for the day to day running of the project with the guidance of a project manager including :

- Keeping a daily log that would include photos.

- Keeping the project clean and organized.

- Ensuring materials are onsite when needed.
