Lead carpenter/Project foreman. Need a great addition to our team.

We are seeking a lead carpenter/project foreman. With emphasis on Structural.

You will oversee project planning, layout, scheduling, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

-Excellent communication skills. Correlate efficiently between clients, building officials and the construction team.

- Ability to produce accurate and timely takeoffs.

-Must be comfortable with emails and use of project management software.

-Layout expert. Both rough and finish. Be able to read blueprints and specs sheets with accuracy. Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation.

-Supervise onsite personnel and trade partners.

-Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.

-Maintain a high standard of workmanship. Productivity, but not at the expense of craftsmanship.

-Adhere to project schedules with weekly job logs. Be able to plan 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

For the most part, you would be working with/managing concrete and Framing Subcontractor's. Periodically on smaller projects, working with a well-established in-house crew.
