QA Analyst, UI and Front End
California, San francisco bay area 00000 San francisco bay area USAIXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a QA Analyst focused on UI and Front End applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and education with an ability to work closely with our product managers and engineers to develop and execute test strategies for a variety of exciting new features.
This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Ensure quality on our front-end web applications with a strong focus on UI testing
Review business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reports
Perform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testing
Manage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycle
Work closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
Analyze test results and facilitate resolution of issues
Iterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BA/BS degree required
Strong design skills and experience in web design, UI, and UX
Ability to work both independently and on a wide variety of teams
Passion for making bulletproof applications and improving education through technology
Self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, and source control is a plus
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $67,000 - $90,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
