Product Engineer Position at XP Health, Inc.

Product Engineer (Wage Offer: $147,368/yr): Design the architecture and product development of brand-new user-facing software product features having top-line business and performance impact. Design and develop computer applications that allow users to conduct specific tasks and the underlying systems that run the devices or control networks for XP Health technical products. Design software systems, implementing and deploying updates to the production system. Design and build infrastructure and backend features having top-line business and performance impact. Design and build internal ops tools, backend (systems and table structure) to support frontend features and improving deployment infrastructure. Work closely with engineering and cross-functional team members to ensure seamless product development.

Telecommuting up to 2 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field. 6 months of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Analyst, or a related occupation.

SKILLS: Must have academic or industry experience with:

1. Experience working with AWS services (at least one of the following: S3, ElasticBeanstalk, or EC2) and web technologies (at least two of the following: ES6, React, Node, Redux, jQuery, Webpack, or Babel SCSS).

2. Experience working with systems design and front-end engineering methods (responsive design, cross-device compatibility, or single page applications).

3. Experience with Android programming, software development, and Java review and unit testing.

4. Experience with algorithms and data structures.

5. Experience designing and implementing neural network models, using the Pytorch framework.

6. Experience with computer networks and the application of operating system functionality in programming tasks (with knowledge of concurrency, multiprocessing, multithreading, race conditions, and synchronization primitives).

7. Experience working with database or data systems, including data query (SQL) and query optimization, data models, data storage, and failure recovery.

8. Experience programming in SQL and Python.
