Berkeley Biologics was founded in 2023 and manufactures high-quality, cost-effective, clinically relevant human cell/tissue products. The company offers a broad variety of allografts for bone, wound care and soft tissue applications.

We are growing, and we have several positions open for Tissue Production Technician to processes recovered donated bone and soft tissue materials. These roles are onsite in our Richmond facility.

Job Requirements:

Adhere to written SOPs, hands on technical training, and product specifications to complete assignments.

Document processing data legibly, accurately, and in a timely fashion.

Clean, organize, and maintain processing work areas as required by SOPs and work instructions.

Adheres to all safety standards and precautions including universal precautions, chemical safety requirements, and use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Participates in cleaning schedule to ensure the clean rooms are well maintained and to prevent cross contamination between donors.

Provides QA and Microbiology departments all information needed for the release of tissue for processing.

Works with chemical solutions during process and testing.

Responsible for keeping adequate inventory of all supplies for solution preparation, also includes supplies for packaging allografts after freeze drying.

Responsible for assisting with other tasks as assigned by team leader/supervisor during downtime.

Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 years of relevant work experience.

Possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Works well under pressure with strict deadlines.

Solid PC and data entry skills.

Demonstrated experience working in a team environment, while maintaining cooperative working relationships.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Maintains confidentiality of all records and information, which pertains to donors, families, employees, the organization and related areas.

Available and adaptable to working fluctuating schedules, including weeknights, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
