Rosie the Riveter Trust
Rosie the Riveter Trust is the official nonprofit partner of the Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, California. The Trust supports the National Park Service in preservation, accessibility, public education, and youth programs intended to explore stories to inspire the ‘We Can Do It!’ spirit that energized the World War II Home Front and values that transformed American government, industry, society, and culture.
A Unique National Park
The Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park brings to life the history of ordinary people who faced and overcame some of our nation’s greatest challenges. Weaving threads of history into a tapestry that illuminates and inspires, our unique urban national park captures the diverse stories of the American Home Front. In this place, women, men, children, and people of all colors and backgrounds forged innovations that make our society what it is today—and show what it can be tomorrow.
Duties Include:
Fundraising Strategy and Implementation
Develop and execute annual fundraising plans to meet organizational goals.
Identify and cultivate individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
Plan and manage fundraising campaigns, including online giving and direct mail appeals.
Coordinate special events such as annual galas, donor appreciation events, and community outreach activities.
Grant Writing and Management
Oversee research and grant writing proposals to secure funding from private, corporate, and government sources.
Manage grant reporting, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and deadlines.
Donor Relations and Stewardship
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors.
Create donor acknowledgment letters, reports, and recognition materials.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records using a donor management database.
Marketing and Communications
Collaborate with the team to develop marketing materials, newsletters, and annual reports.
Contribute to social media and digital marketing efforts to promote fundraising campaigns and events.
Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Executive Director, Communications and Marketing Manager, other staff, and board members to identify and cultivate funding opportunities.
Assist in volunteer engagement and management efforts.
Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or related.
Strong writing, editing, and spoken communication skills.
Proficiency in donor database systems, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated success in securing individual, foundation, and corporate gifts or grants.
Experience organizing fundraising events and managing budgets.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time management-level exempt position. Salary will be based on experience. Benefits include:
