Part time household assistant

We’re looking for a responsible, friendly college student or part-time helper to assist our family with light household tasks about 4–8 hours per week. The schedule is flexible — ideally two weekdays (e.g. Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday).

About the role

Tasks include:

Light cleaning and tidying around the house

Laundry and folding

Prepping lunches or simple dinners

Occasional errands, pickups, or drop-offs (if you have a car or feel comfortable using rideshare/transit)

We’re a warm, busy household with two young girls (ages 4 and 7), a friendly dog, and a home with stairs — so you’ll need to be comfortable with pets and light physical activity.

Location: Haight-Ashbury / Upper Haight, San Francisco

Hours: 4–8 per week, split across 2 days (flexible)

Rate: $25/hour (negotiable based on experience)

Environment: Non-smoking home, casual but reliable work setting
