Line Cook - Overlook Restaurant

Tilden Park Golf Course and Touchstone Golf are excited to announce a career opportunity as an Overlook Line Cook at the soon to open ‘Overlook at Tilden’ restaurant and bar at the golf course!

Overlook at Tilden is an exciting new hospitality facility currently under renovation with a planned opening of June 2024. Overlook will will consist of a full-service restaurant and bar with casual indoor/outdoor dining space geared toward golfers and members of the community at large who are looking for a casual place to enjoy a burger, tri-tip sandwich and beer or cocktail while sitting on the expansive patio or enjoying a game inside.

Essential job functions:

· Ensure food preparation is set up and ready for service

· Prepare food and drinks in accordance with the menu

· Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet all health and safety standards

· Maintain and ensure kitchen cleanliness

· Keep all product organized and stocked

· Maintain a clean station and properly label store any remaining products

· Inventory all products and supplies levels and report to manager for ordering

· Perform other related duties that may be assigned by manager

· Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

Physical Demands:

Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

Will be exposed to chemicals used in typical cleaning supplies.

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications:

Required State food handling certification.

Some cooking experience preferred.
