HIRING - Full-time Family Assistant for Busy Household Needed

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Family appreciates occasional flexibility when children are out of school

Children: 7, 8, and 10 year olds

Duties: Childcare, driving children, arranging play dates, laundry and cooking for children, facilitating dinner routine, running household errands, grocery shopping, light tidying including taking out trash weekly, pet care including walking and feeding sweet lab, managing deliveries, household organizational projects, managing family calendar, and ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements: Ideal Candidate is fun, engaging, proactive, organized, and active. A Candidate who enjoys being outside and is playful and engaging in age-appropriate activities with the children will be an ideal fit for this family. The Family Assistant can help with household tasks when the children are in school, and then focus on the children and their needs in the afternoons. Candidate must drive and must be comfortable with a dog. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain COVID and yearly flu vaccinations.

Salary: $38-40 per hour plus benefits: guaranteed pay 52 weeks per year, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays and a $250 monthly medical stipend. Additionally, Family will provide a car for the Candidate to use during working hours and their personal time, as well as pay for all gas used and the Candidate's car insurance.

Requirements: Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long-term teaching experience with children and recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
