Tax Preparer Assistant

Location: Pleasant Hill, CA (In-Person)

Schedule: Part-Time, Seasonal, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 per hour

We operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, specializing in supporting a niche client base. This role offers a great opportunity to quickly expand your tax knowledge, including practical tips and real-world tax insights.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing basic individual tax returns

Identify potential deductions and credits for clients

Review and analyze financial records, income statements, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness

Determine the appropriate forms and information needed to complete tax returns

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as a Licensed Tax Preparer

Strong understanding of financial documents and tax-related information

Excellent typing and data entry skills with high accuracy

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

CTEC License welcomed
