Routine Inspection and Maintenance Technician

A company in San Luis Obispo County has an immediate opening for a technician to join our team!Duties will involve performing routine inspections and maintenance to local clients' water and wastewater facilities. This will include checking pumps, motors, controls/automation, and alarm systems for conditions that may prevent the pump station or ancillary equipment from operating correctly, performing Megohm and full load amperage readings, tightening all terminal connections, lubrication of all bearings as recommended by the manufacturer, and testing of all controls components to ensure correct operation.Applicants must have a valid CA driver's license and must be insurable. Experience with electrical is required. Additionally, experience with mechanical systems is preferred.Must be willing to relocate to this area, and work with sewage.

Not required to start but, the ideal candidate would have several years of experience working on the above-mentioned equipment and hold a CA Class B driver's license with a tanker endorsement, a CA D1 Water Distribution License and a CA T1 collection system license.This is a full-time position with benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, uniform allowance and company cell phone, etc.
