  • Principle Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement new product capabilities using Object Oriented Design and advanced knowledge of Python.
    • Ensure new features have automated system tests to promote rapid and stable development.
    • Ability to test at unit and system level to identify and correct any programming issues identified.
    • TDD experience/approach in development a plus.
    • Proven experience with Agile development methodology a plus.

    Skill Set & Qualifications:
    • 7+ years of advanced software development experience with Python 2/3:
    pip, virtualenv, setuptoolsTest frameworks such as PyTest, mock, etc.Frameworks such as Flask, SQLAlchemy, Django, etc.
    • Proficiency with object oriented software design and development.
    • Experience with Python applications in Docker containers, including build and deployment automation.
    • Experience with infrastructure tools including Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Git.
    • Experience with automated testing.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipeline utilizing Jenkins automation a plus.
    • Experience developing Ruby applications/scripts a plus.
    • Good communication and organizational skills and can work effectively in a team environment.
    · Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS or experience with other programming languages or equivalent training/work.
