Accountant (Deltek Vision experience)

Description Robert Half is partnering with a large and growing engineering firm in San Diego for a contract or contract-to-hire Accountant position. We are looking for an individual who possesses expertise in Deltek Vision software and has a strong background in full-cycle accounting. This is an immediate, on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently and accurately.

Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely billing and payment.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Provide support for various financial reporting activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles.

Proficiency in Deltek Vision software is required.

Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting processes, including AP, AR, billing, and month-end procedures.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
